At the end of a winter day in 1994, I was finishing pruning my Carignan vines, when I was struck by the light that emanated from the ground, like a light internal to the earth.

Between dog and wolf, the sun had already set for a long time and left its mark on the ground and radiated my inspiration.

I was already a painter, I wanted to capture this impression. I collected a little of this earth and further from the red earth of Salses le château, I knew the black earth of Espira de l'Agly, I filled a can with it then the beige earth of Sigean.

It was from this muted palette that I began to paint with earths and then with sands and minerals collected here and there for their colors, sifted, glued and spread with a knife on canvas.

Later, after around thirty still life paintings, I presented my work to the Perpignan gallery owner Thérèse Roussel who strongly encouraged me to persevere, promising to exhibit me in 1997 in her gallery.

Another exhibition followed in 1999 on the theme of passion then in Paris on permanent exhibition for 15 years at the Museum gallery, rue des Francs-Bourgeois.

In 2017, I won the genre painter prize at the Beaux Arts fair at the Carrousel du Louvre and in 2019 the bronze medal.

In the summer of 2018, a major exhibition is presented at the palace of the kings of Majorca in Perpignan.

Since 2021 I have been a ceramic artist in residence at Sant Vicens in Perpignan where I presented my most recent paintings at the Cave Musée last December.
