At the meeting point of the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, Collioure , a great port of Roussillon for centuries and a stronghold, occupies a strategic position which makes it an important stake throughout history. A magnificent walk on the heights of the village, from Fort de l' Etoile to Fort Miradou , will allow you to discover the rich past of the village and enter monuments usually inaccessible to the public : The Fort Square and the Fort Miradou which currently houses the CNEC (National Commando Training Center). Take a leap into history and come and explore these military sites during a walk in the unique and enchanting landscapes of the Côte Vermeille .
