On Friday 3 April, from 9pm, don't miss the Sanch procession in Collioure, a Catholic tradition celebrated in several towns in the Pyrénées-Orientales region.

The procession departs from the Church of Notre Dame des Anges and winds its way through the narrow streets of the town, stopping off at resting places set up by private individuals.

To mark the Sanch procession, the Tourist Office is selling hand-made terracotta “caraputxes” penitents for €6.80 each, in aid of the Confrérie de la Sanch de Collioure.
