REDFORD MOVIE NIGHT
The Wednesday 10 December at 18 a.m00
Cinéma Le Mondial, 1 Place du 18 Juin 66190 COLLIOURE
– At the "Le Mondial" cinema in Collioure
– Wednesday 10 December 2025
– 1st film at 6.00pm, interval at 7.45pm, and 2nd film at 8.30pm
– 1 film €8, reel price €6
The new film association “Bobines de Collioure” is inaugurating its first event.
We invite you to explore the film “All is lost” by director J.C Chandor, which illustrates the relentless struggle between Man and Nature, during the Redford evening at the “Le Mondial” cinema in Collioure. Shot in adverse conditions, the film is a true feat of the seventh art. Despite its wordless script, the audience is completely captivated by the simple gestures of Robert Redford, who delivers one of his most remarkable performances. This award-winning film depicts an incredible human odyssey. Not to be missed under any circumstances!
In the second film, “Three Days of the Condor”, director Sydney Pollack produced a landmark work of political espionage set against the backdrop of an America shaken by the scandals of the Nixon era. The script, in which Turner (a CIA agent) is confronted with the diabolical machinery of his agency, creates a feeling of anxiety and suspense that is palpable at every moment. The film is enhanced by a prestigious cast in both leading and supporting roles. The film won numerous awards, including the Edgar Allan Poe Award in 1976, and has become a cult classic for fans of the thriller and espionage genre.
We suggest you bring a snack to share during the interval in the spirit of conviviality, Spanish inn style. Les Bobines will be in charge of the bar.
