NATIONAL TOURISM & DISABILITY DAYS – CHÂTEAU ROYAL DE COLLIOURE

During the April holidays, the Château Royal de Collioure is offering “Le château à l’heure des vacances”, a series of sensory activities for young and old alike, as part of the National Tourism & Disability Days. These events invite visitors to explore the five senses through discovery and awareness-raising experiences, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

On Tuesday 21 April, there will be guided tours with sign language interpretation at 10.30am and 2.30pm, followed by a sensory workshop on visual impairment from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

On Wednesday 22 April, a guided tour along a route accessible to people with reduced mobility is organised at 2.30pm, followed by a sensory workshop from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Braille and sound relaxation.

On Thursday 23 April, to mark Sant Jordi, floral workshops led by Les roses de la Prade will be held from 2pm to 5pm, along with a “reading differently” area with a reading corner and creative activities.

On Tuesday 28 April, a sensory workshop led by La Vue au bout des Doigts is on offer from 2pm to 5pm.

On Wednesday 29 April, a sensory workshop on Braille and the sound siesta takes place from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

On Thursday 30 April, a “reading differently” area will be open from 2pm to 5pm, with a reading corner and a selection of adapted books.
