THE COLLIOURE BELL TOWER EXHIBITION

– The opening will take place on Friday 10 April at 6.30pm.
– The exhibition will run from 11 April to 14 August 2026.
– Château open from 1 April to 30 June from 10am to 6pm and from 1 July to 31 August from 9.30am to 6.30pm.

As part of its heritage programme, the Royal Château of Collioure is presenting the exhibition “Points 2 Vue® around the bell tower of Collioure”.

This photographic event is part of the celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of the installation designed by Marc-André de Figueres, and is a follow-up to the photo competition organised last summer.

– In 1995, the artist created the Points 2 Vue® frames, twelve sculptures installed around the bell tower, offering unique perspectives on this emblematic monument. Now a veritable artistic trail, they invite visitors to photograph and share their view of Collioure. Every day, almost four thousand photos are taken thanks to this system.

– The photo competition, run in partnership with the town of Collioure, the Photoclub de Collioure and the MA2F Galerie, has brought together amateurs and professionals around these frames. The Château Royal also joined the event by offering virtual frames to visitors. The aim of this initiative was to promote local heritage and artistic creativity.

– The exhibition features a selection of the winning photographs and the twelve original frames. It takes place in the château’s chapel, the symbolic location where one of the first installations was presented.
