The train
Collioure train station: Perpignan – Portbou line:
PRM access: Underpass not accessible to PRM in the direction of Perpignan.
To get to Perpignan, take a train towards Portbou, stop at the PRM-accessible Port-Vendres station and head towards Perpignan.
For your information, Port Vendres station is accessible to PRMs in both directions.

On-duty lifeguard timetable:

- Boramar Beach Facilities: Pathway, 1 tiralo wheelchair, manual and electric wheelchair
- Port d’Avall beach, Rue de la Démocratie Facilities: Pathway, toilet.
The SDIS 66 firefighters will assist the carer of the PRM-PSH*: Transferring the person onto the tiralo wheelchair, getting to the shore, getting into the water, and later getting out of the water and returning the tiralo wheelchair. They supervise the bathing of the PRM-PSH with their carer, but do not take part in it; they intervene if necessary or if there is danger.
*A PSH is someone with a disability that is deficient, incapacitating or causes social disadvantage

Key information before coming to Collioure
Is the tourist train accessible to people with reduced mobility?
The little tourist train is not equipped to accommodate PRM.
However, at the kiosk, staff can help you to seat the person if they are accompanied and able to get up from the wheelchair to the seat on the train (with assistance).
It’s worth noting that the little train moves quite a bit during the ride, so if the person is not able to stay upright, the journey could be a little tricky.
